Our Club

Developers Society (DEVS) is the largest student-run tech organisation in Auckland, based at The University of Auckland. Our mission - to connect software enthusiasts with the industry through technical, business and inter-personal skill development - involves two cornerstones that the club runs on: upskilling our members, and providing opportunities with the industry.

DEVS is proud to present its very own Tech Team, responsible for internally creating and hosting free workshops on a diverse range of topics. This includes workshops tailored for beginners, such as learning coding fundamentals, to hobbyist and professional developer levels, such as exploring unique frameworks and advanced skills. All workshops are interactive, with Teaching Assistants from the team to assist attendees in each workshop.

Additionally, DEVS is privileged to collaborate with different tech companies across Oceania to bring you unique and valuable industry events. These events span from networking, mentoring, hackathons, and so much more. Most importantly, all of our events and workshops are all free for members.
